Do I need a referral or a Mental Health Care Plan?

A GP referral is a letter from your GP to Penelope / Healthwise. It explains to us why you’re being referred along with the number of sessions that you’re eligible for. The referral also includes your GP’s details, their provider number and signature. WIthout these, the Mental Health Care plan is not valid.
